We come to you! SwimMatch matches you with an instructor in your area. Lessons can be held in your backyard pool, community pool, etc. Don’t have a pool? No worries! Our instructors have access to pools, too!

Instructors are not publicly displayed. Instead, SwimMatch matches clients with instructors through an internal system that considers factors such as location, availability, and the preferences provided during registration.

If your assigned instructor isn’t a good fit, you may request a different available instructor in your area by contacting us at swimmatch@outlook.com.

If you do not feel that your instructor is a good fit, you can request a replacement by contacting us at swimmatch@outlook.com. We will swap instructors for you as soon as possible for your remaining lessons.

Absolutely! Your instructor would be happy to split your lessons to dedicate 1-to-1 instruction per child. However, we recommend purchasing 60-minute lessons to ensure that all children progress well.

If you purchase lessons for 2 children, your instructor can split the lessons and dedicate 30 minutes of coaching to each child.

If you purchase lessons for 3 children, your instructor can dedicate 20 minutes of coaching per child.

Yes! We love our older clients. On the checkout page, you would simply need to specify that lessons would be for yourself or a friend. The age of the swimmer would also need to be mentioned.

No, there are no additional fees. We charge each client based on the amount of lessons they purchase with no registration fees.

SwimMatch offers a trial lesson to each new client for as little as $21! This lesson is 30 minutes long and allows you to try us out. However, we only allow each client to purchase one trial lesson per swimmer every year.

Independent instructors may bring basic training aids to enhance lessons, including:

  • Kickboards
  • Diving rings
  • Water toys for engagement and skill development
  • Water barbells or similar resistance tools (when appropriate)

Equipment may vary by instructor. If you have specific requests or your own preferred equipment, you are welcome to coordinate directly with your instructor.

Many families begin with a 6-lesson package to make sure their instructor is the right fit. After completing those lessons, you can purchase a larger package if desired.

General recommendations:

  • 30-minute lessons – Ideal for one student, especially younger children
  • 45-minute lessons – Commonly suited for two students
  • 60-minute or longer lessons – Best for multiple students or extended practice with more experienced swimmers

For group lessons, instructors structure each session to ensure every swimmer receives equally individualized attention. If you’re unsure which option is best, our team is happy to assist.

If you don’t fulfill your entire package, the remaining lessons can still be redeemed up to 1 year after purchase!

No. SwimMatch does not offer a learn-to-swim guarantee. Progress in swimming varies by individual, and no lesson, instructor, or program can guarantee specific results, skill mastery, or safety outcomes.

SwimMatch operates as a coordination platform that connects clients with independent instructors. Clients are encouraged to communicate directly with their assigned instructor to discuss goals, expectations, and learning preferences.

No worries! Simply communicate with your instructor. They’ll be happy to reschedule your lesson.

We are so sorry that you were unsatisfied with your first lesson. If you believe that it wasn’t the right instructor, we recommend contacting us at swimmatch@outlook.com requesting an instructor swap. If you’d rather receive a refund, please do so through the same email. Please specify your name, package bought, and phone number in the email! Please keep in mind that we can only offer partial refunds due to processing fees.
